The Orchard Mason Bee
After a bit of research and exploration into keeping honeybees I decided that they may not be the best bee for small city living. So I've found the Orchard Mason Bee, a bee that is, I believe, widely undervalued. The honeybees get all the attention, well what about the OMB? They're native to the US and Canada, are a solitary insect (no queen to slave for), they don't sting and they're better pollinators than the honeybee. I was hooked. I had to learn more.
